“Very quaint cabins, CLEAN, and grounds well-maintained. Dog friendly, kid friendly, etc. Short walk to the water - bring a tube and bathing suit! Lots of extras left behind from prior campers - we had spices, plates, and even a dish rack in our cabin. My second visit this past weekend - very enjoyable and comfortable in this heat wave. Kudos to the owners, you’ll see me again next summer!”
“Beautiful and VERY clean. The owner and cleaning staff are extremely nice. The riverfront property is tucked away just off the highway in it's own secluded, quiet and tranquil space. Definitely worth bringing your family out to stay.”
“The photos on their website don't do the cabins credit. Ours was cute inside and comfortable. There was even coffee in our kitchen. Joyce gave us a great price (discounted because we arrived relatively late in the evening. Good location. I would definitely stay there again.”
“We have stayed at Camp Live Oak several times throughout the years and it is a wonderful, relaxing place. It is not the place to go if you are looking for luxury. But it is VERY affordable and the service is excellent. It is quiet, family owned and operated, and the guests are always friendly and respectful. They have free firewood and amazing beauty all around. Each cabin has a fire ring, picnic table and a grill. Ours had two bedrooms with three beds. A full kitchen, full-sized fridge and a microwave are included. There is plenty of hot water and a great shower and heat and air. There are a lot of more expensive, swankier places around, but this is more our speed.”
“I love coming to Camp Live Oak throughout the year. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. It’s fun to hike and hang out by the fire pits in the cooler weather, and so nice to sit in the river when it’s hot. The cabins are adorable and the owners are so friendly. The prices are really reasonable, too.”
